First Aid

Do you know what to do in the unfortunate event a student becomes unconscious or a child cannot breathe?

What about in the event of broken bones on the schoolyard?

Teachers are responsible for creating a safe environment for their students, and physical safety is part of that net.

The Importance of Paediatric First Aid

World Class Teachers run paediatric first aid courses for both families and child carers – especially for teachers. For peace of mind it is important that as a Primary teacher or child carer you would know what to do in the event of an emergency.

Our one day paediatric course covers all the essential procedures to ensure that in the event of an accident, every child carer would have the confidence to know what to do.

About Our First Aid Course

The course focuses on emergency scenarios that are faced by professionals, families or anyone looking after young children.

The course runs for approximately 6 hours and will cover all aspects of paediatric first aid. The qualified trainer is used to training nannies and child carers, and will deliver the course in a way that is easy to understand, using slides, video and hands-on demonstrations.

What You Get Out of the Course

When the course is finished you will receive a credit card sized wallet certificate and a First Aid guidebook. More importantly, you will have the confidence to practice your First Aid training should the need arise.

This paediatric first aid course meets the requirements of the Early Years foundation stage statutory framework.
