World Class Teachers is currently recruiting on behalf of a Ealing mixed secondary school with a reputation of strength across sporting codes. The school is oversubscribed, with a large, well resourced humanities department proactively involved study trips to various destinations.

About the role

The right candidate will display enthusiasm and innovation across the Geography Curriculum. The subject is very popular with a high uptake across year levels.

There is emphasis on the practical components of the subject within departmental planning, with a drive across staff to develop a true love of the subject with many students carrying on from this school to study Geography at University.

This position will be teaching Geography up to A-level, and is open to both new and experienced teachers. At the heart of this role is a teacher who is prepared to go the extra mile to see the success of their pupils.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a teaching qualification equivalent to a PGCE.
  • Have experience teaching Geography – up to A-level is a bonus.
  • Be able to provide two current references.
  • Have a relevant visa allowing you to undertake work in the UK.
