About the role

This role includes teaching history to A Level and so although not essential, experience of teaching this level would be an advantage.

The idea candidate will:

  • Have previous experience as a History Teacher within UK schools (this would be an advantage but is not essential to this role).
  • Be confident and proficient delivering lessons
  • Have exceptional lesson plan and preparation skills
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
  • Cooperative nature and willing to implement and support school ethos
  • Provide the contact details of 2 referees able to cover last 2 year work period
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

About the role

This is a full time role commencing immediately. You will be responsible for teaching RE with as well as some PSHE (Health or Social Science).  Ideally you will have some experience with planning and assessment although NQT’s are welcome and encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be able to develop sound working relationships with both students and parents.

The Ideal Teacher:

  • must be qualified with an education degree appropriate for UK schools
  • will be confident with the UK curriculum required up to KS5
  • will possess excellent classroom management skills
  • be able to provide two current references and if relevant have a visa allowing you to undertake work in the UK.
