About the role:

This is a maternity cover role with an immediate start, which lasts up until Christmas. This role is 3 days a week (Mondays – Wednesdays) and requires the teacher to teach RE to Key Stage 3

The ideal teacher:
  • Can teach RE up to Key Stage 3
  • Is aware of the Key Stage 3 curriculum
  • Has experience of teaching in UK schools
  • Is available to work Monday- Wednesday up until Christmas
  • Are experienced and have excellent teaching skills
  • Are highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Keen to work as part of a team
  • Provide the contact details of 2 referees able to cover last 2 year work period
  • A current DBS on the Update Service

This role includes teaching history to A Level and so although not essential, experience of teaching this level would be an advantage.

The idea candidate will:

  • Have previous experience as a History Teacher within UK schools (this would be an advantage but is not essential to this role).
