World Class Teachers are recruiting for an enthusiastic and fun History Teacher for one of our popular client schools in South West London.

This post is for a girls’ secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in South West London. They are a inclusive school that boasts a welcoming and supportive educational environment to work within and be a part of.

About the role

This role includes teaching history to A Level and so although not essential, experience of teaching this level would be an advantage.

The idea candidate will:

  • Have previous experience as a History Teacher within UK schools (this would be an advantage but is not essential to this role).
  • Be confident and proficient delivering lessons
  • Have exceptional lesson plan and preparation skills
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
  • Cooperative nature and willing to implement and support school ethos
  • Provide the contact details of 2 referees able to cover last 2 year work period
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

The Ideal Secondary Teacher

Must be a fully qualified teacher with solid experience teaching
Have experience of teaching equivalent of  GCSE level, ideally A Level
Be fully confident in planning and marking
Possess excellent communication skills
