Student Voice

Aside from teaching, the role of a school and teaching body is make sure that their students are able to effectively express themselves and make positive decisions relating to their educational future.

World Class Teachers run a workshop for students titled Student Voice which concentrates on the latter.

Workshop for up to 30 Students

If you are a Secondary School teacher or head of a school looking for ways to improve situations in schools or to give students a say in the organisation, our workshops can help.

As a third-party, we are able to sit down with you and your students to hear what they have to say regarding a range of educational matters. We also help structure programmes to help students convey their opinions to the school as well as mentoring and leadership opportunities.

We work in partnership with the schools to engage students as educational decision makers in areas ranging from what affects them personally, to what affects the entire school organisation.

Types of Workshops for Students

We can cover a range of topics that may be your school’s top priority, including the following suggested areas:

  • Peer Mentors
  • School Council
  • Communicating Feedback
  • Students as Observers
  • Pupil Leadership skills
  • Educational Decision Makers

Workshops are developed in partnership with schools to ensure that the workshop is completely suitable for the school’s requirements.  After the school has described their needs to us, a package will be created to suit specific essentials.

Single workshops can also be designed to empower students in this role as educational decision makers, or a more long term approach can be used to help set up programmes that recognise the importance of the student voice.

If you have any questions regarding how the workshops are run or want to see what other student training we can do for you, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
