Early Years teaching is not for the faint-hearted; jam packed with stimulating activities, lots of running around, and working to prepare children aged 3-5 for the world of education, a job teaching the Early Years stage will certainly keep you on your toes!

Developmental learning throughout nursery and reception focuses most crucially on improving pupils’ social and communication skills to their optimum level prior to primary education. This is an extremely important stage in any child’s life and a fantastic assignment for the supply teachers undertaking the role. Creativity, imagination and energy in abundance are ideal attributes for any prospective candidate.

We have plenty of Early Years teaching opportunities for overseas teachers wanting to come to London to undertake an Early Years teaching job. To be a World Class Teacher we ask that you are dedicated, passionate about education, and want to give children the best possible start at school. For jobs in later primary school teaching please see the relevant page on our website.

As a minimum, we require our World Class Early Years teachers to possess:

  • A Bachelor of Education or Primary PGCE
  • A valid passport and visa which allows you to work in the UK
  • Experience in teaching the UK curriculum, or a curriculum which is very similar

Specific requirements for our primary teacher roles will vary by job or by school, so please don’t forget to read the job description thoroughly before sending your application.
